निबंध - हत्ती

हत्ती  🐘

रुबाबदार, डौलदार, धिप्पाड देहाचा, लांब सोंड असलेला हत्ती हा प्राणी मला खूप आवडतो. 

            हत्ती हा प्राणी जंगलात राहतो. काहीजण हत्ती हा प्राणी पाळतात. भारतात उत्तर प्रदेश, बिहार, ओरिसा, कर्नाटक, आसाम, महाराष्ट्र, केरळ, तामिळनाडू इत्यादी राज्यांमध्ये हत्ती आढळतात. 

           हत्ती हा एक मोठ्या आकाराचा सस्तन प्राणी आहे. हत्तीचा उपयोग भारी वस्तू वाहून नेण्यासाठी, युद्धात, सर्कस मध्ये केला जातो. पूर्वी राजांना बसण्यासाठी हत्तीवर अंबारीची व्यवस्था केलेली असायची. आताही लहान मोठ्यांना हत्तीवर बसण्यास खूप आवडते. हत्ती हा शाकाहारी प्राणी आहे. हत्ती झाडपाला, गवत, ऊस, बांबूंचे अंकुर खातो. संपूर्ण प्राणी जगतामध्ये सर्वात जास्त विकसित मेंदू हत्तीचा आहेे. 

           हत्ती हा  गडद राखाडी रंगाचा असतो. त्याची उंची सव्वातीन ते साडेतीन मीटरपर्यंत असते. हत्ती जंगलामध्ये कळपाने राहतात. साधारणपणे 50 ते 70 वर्ष ते जगतात. हत्तीची त्वचा जाड, संवेदनशील असते. हत्तीला एक लांब सोंड, भलेमोठे खांबासारखे चार पाय, सुपासारखे कान, एक बारीक शेपूट व दोन बारीक डोळे असतात. 

           हत्तीच्या तोंडाच्या बाहेर जे दोन मोठे मोठे दात दिसतात त्यांना सुळे किंवा हस्तिदंत असे म्हणतात. हत्तीची वास घेण्याची क्षमता तीव्र असते. हत्ती कानाला वारंवार हलवतो व अशा रीतीने शरीरातील गर्मी बाहेर काढतो व शरीराचे तापमान नियंत्रित ठेवतो. 

            हत्तीच्या ओरडण्याला चित्कार असे म्हणतात. हत्तीचे दात खूप मौल्यवान आहेत. हत्तीच्या हस्तिदंतापासून दागिने शोभेच्या वस्तू बांगड्या बनविल्या जातात. हत्ती हा अतिशय गरीब प्राणी आहे.

 I really like the rhubarb, the graceful, slender, long-tailed elephant.

             The elephant lives in the forest. Some keep elephants. Elephants are found in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Orissa, Karnataka, Assam, Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu etc. in India.

            The elephant is a large mammal. Elephants are used in war, in circuses, to carry heavy objects. In the past, there used to be an ambari on elephants for the kings to sit on. Even now, adults love to sit on elephants. Elephants are herbivores. The elephant eats plants, grass, sugarcane, bamboo shoots. The elephant has the most developed brain in the entire animal kingdom.

            The elephant is dark gray in color. Its height ranges from three to three and a half meters. Elephants live in herds in the forest. They live for about 50 to 70 years. Elephant skin is thick and sensitive. The elephant has a long trunk, four legs like a large pillar, ears like a supa and thin eyes.

            The two large teeth that appear outside the mouth of an elephant are called ivory. The elephant's sense of smell is intense. The elephant moves its ears frequently and thus releases body heat and regulates body temperature.

             The roar of an elephant is called a shout. Ivory tusks are very valuable. Ornamental bracelets are made from ivory ornaments. The elephant is a very poor animal.
